Overcoming with Christ

When you run out of answers or options, remember he says that we are not alone, we don’t have to hold on, he holds on to us.

Your world isn’t falling apart, it’s falling in to place.

When your at a mental crossroads, the best thing to do, is seek comfort in him, and trust his plan will prevail.

For someone like myself, growing up was never a walk in the park. There were always these enexpected curveballs thrown in our direction. From suffering from an abusive step-parent as a toddler, to struggling with addict parents and family members, to losing those parents and family members. You start to wonder what in life will actually go right. This is a dangerous way to think. Losing hope in the future can take motivation away from the present to continue into the future. TRUST HIM. He is all powerful! He created the Heavens and Earth in SEVEN DAYS! Can Youngboy do that? Stop seeking coping mechanisms that are temporary, and seek him!

Some of us may feel like we aren’t worthy of his help, or his love. We feel that because we sin, he will be ashamed of us, and we don’t come to him. Did you know that when Jesus was being crucified by his people on the cross, he looked to heaven and said “Father forgive them, for they know not what they do.” ON HIS CRUCIFIXION, HE BEGGED GOD TO FORGIVE US FOR BEATING HIM. Instead of wiping us out with the wave of his hand, he asked for us to be forgiven. That is love. Unconditional love. Some of us have never felt a love like that from anyone, not even our parents. So this is why I urge you, come to Jesus.
